I purchased a pair of Carhart boots on Oct. 17. By December the soles were totally rotted out and falling apart. I took them back and explained - showing my receipt. The woman manager became immediately offensive - denying these were her shoes and it was not a valid receipt. Her husband intervened and was most helpful and looked for a replacement. The woman continued to threaten me with the police and affirming she would not replace them. Her husband replaced the boots most graciously while the woman continued. I told them I could not imagine how they could stay in business with this attitude. The younger man attributed it to "her heart condition" and told me to leave. I have never rec'd such treatment and will never shop there again. Need to add that the replacement shoes are the wrong size, and will not be able to wear them, so I am out $90 with shoes that I cannot wear.
We've been shopping here for years, and I've always had an excellent experience. Its a lovely, family-owned business that carries Levi's, Carhartt's, and several other quality brands. The last few times I've been in there they've also had a really excellent brand of candle by the register. I always enjoy chatting with whoever is at the register. I will continue to shop here, and recommend it to anyone who would rather have a friendly experience close to home than an impersonal online shopping experience.
Just a quick suggestion to anyone ordering a metal carport from these folks. Dick is a nice guy, but did not do the order correct. I took in a photo from the company’s web page of the RV cover I wanted. We talked about all the options and additional costs; all but the extra metal on the sides as the picture showed. After the construction was complete, I called the company to discuss the issue. They said to contact the salesman. I did and both Dick and his son Shannon acknowledged they did not know at that time that there was an additional charge for that even though the website says “standard style”. Dick called me back with a price which was different than that the company rep told me. After stuttering a bit, he said he would call me back. In a few days, he did. The price suddenly became the same as the company. All that said, his feeble attempt make me happy was an offer to pay my sales tax. That amounts to less than $50.00 on the $600.00 miss order. This is the second of four of these structures I own. Two sold to me by Shattons. Both of which had issues. I’m not hard to please, but I should have taken the suggestion from the group that has one just behind his business. "Go somewhere else as they did!"
Great place kind family. Been shopping with them for years.
Sharon's is a great shop. The staff is super friendly, very helpful and extremely family oriented. I have never had a bad experience and it is always my first choice for buying my jackets, coats and work clothes.
